CATCH THAT KID (2004)

Tagline: They're on a mission without permission.
Plot: Maddy, with help from her two best friends Austin and Gus, robs the state-of-the-art bank in which her mother works in order to get the money required to save her dying father, suffering the after-effects of a fall during a hiking expedition. During the heist, the kids overcome high-tech security systems, guard dogs, and a nasty head of security to get to a bank vault suspended 100 feet off the ground. Maddy, who takes after her father with a love for climbing, was the one to make the 100ft climb while Gus looked on and Austin handled the security cameras from the head of the banks office. She has to free climb the last 20ft because her rope gets stuck, she gets a burst of courage at the memory of her dad who free climbed the last 20ft to the sumit of Everest after his rope got caught. She makes the climb and hangs from the vault whole trying to figure out what her mom had set the code for. The code ends up being her name, Madaline.
However, this is not the only conflict in the story. Austin and Gus are both in love with Maddy and when Maddy kisses one of them on the cheek a couple of days before the robbery, the other gets mad and jealous and refuses to help anymore, although they need him for the robbery.
So Maddy formulates a plan. She buys a pair of necklaces, one that says "LO" and one that says "VE" and gives one each to each boy, telling them that she likes him the most and that she has the other half. Before they get away with the money on go karts, both the boys find out that she is lying, and get mad and leave her. Then they feel the guilt and come back. At the end of the film Maddy saves her dad and the boys forgive her and they remain friends.

Goofs: Continuity: Toward the end when Maddy is climbing toward the safe while dangling from the bars, she continues to advance along the bars and can be seen half way across, but in the long shot from beneath she is still at the first two bars.
Continuity: When Gus burns his wrist, the baby's hair color in the background is brown but the real baby has blond hair.
Continuity: 'Stark Sands' 's character is clearly referred to on-screen as Chad but, when the credits come up, he's called "Brad".
Continuity: When Maddy first comes to the bank and Mr. Hartman is offering to show her around her hair is messy for two shots and in the third shot her hair is perfect
Miscellaneous: When Gus first tricks out the go kart, the XBOX controller seen is a large type (type K), but in the next scene when he is testing it, the XBOX controller is the small type (type S).
Factual errors: When Maddy keys in the password "DENIRO", she only presses the numeric-type keypad a few times. In fact, using roll-to-next alpha entry, she would have had to press the same key several times (or hold it down) to roll the letters.
Miscellaneous: While Maddy's parents are talking and sharing ice cream, her mom first drops the ice cream off her spoon then somehow eats it. Later, her spoon switches between having ice cream and not having ice cream.
Miscellaneous: After Maddy falls while her mother calls, her cell phone is right side up, then after cutting to her mother the phone is upside down, then right side up in the next cut to Maddy.
